Nancy Van Zyl is a pediatric occupational therapist who is dedicated to providing specialized and individualized support and care for children and families with varying support needs. Her approach focuses on creating a supportive and nurturing environment to gain skills, build resilience and strengthen confidence for each child's educational and life journey. Nancy believes in working closely with parents, caregivers, other therapists, and school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to therapy.
Services

Assessment and Treatment
Nancy offers comprehensive assessments and individual treatment sessions to children between 0 and 10. The child's immediate support needs are central to the process of setting goals for the child and their family. Read more about Nancy's approach to OT here.

Family Support and Consultations
Nancy provides consultations and support for parents and caregivers to empower them with the knowledge and tools to support their child's development and well-being.

Educational Partnerships
Nancy collaborates with the Tla'amin Nation, SD47 and PIE, independent schools and educational institutions to create inclusive and supportive environments for children with diverse needs, offering workshops and training for educators and school staff.
